I am giving this accomodation 4 stars.
We are used to camping and lesser expierences. Kacha was our first hotel since our arrival in Costa Rica.
The staff is helpfull, friendly and caring. The location is excellent and you'll find everything reachable by walking. Even Manuel Antonio is a 10 minute walk from this location!!
The rooms are small but ok. Yeah, you will find cockroaches but the large hungry iguanas live around your room for that same reason... ;-) viewing wildlife already begins here! Although some aspects of the room outta be improved. Showers are kind of broke of work half. Wifi is excellent.
The restaurant offers lovely meals for normal prices and the view is amazing!

unwelcoming staff, huge cockroaches, smelly rooms, scary low ceiling fan, no windows, AC or privacy, or any accommodations whatsoever.
great location, we booked 2 nights but the rooms were so disgusting we canceled our reservations for a 50% refund and stayed somewhere else.

Best kept secret around here. Very basic and natural. It's like having your own private beach Nice east going staff and clean space.
No ac but not really needed for us. The natural rustic surroundings were perfect and the price was right. We liked the good too. Basic as well but yummy!!
