Café d'Anvers sur la carte

Disappointing. We attended the Ten Walls Halloween party, a boring event where the only creepiness came from seeing the prices of the drinks: 9 euros for cocktails with tiny amounts of booze or 3 euros for baby-beers, 50 cents to pee and 2 euros to take a picture at a photomaton that ate our money. Only one dance floor was open with repetitive house/electro music. The 4 DJs promised could have been just one, because it all sounded like the same. I also have to say that I am not an expert in electronic music. With only around 10% of people dressing up, only Halloween hints were the staff dressing as clowns. My experience going out in Antwerp is quite small, but I hope there are other places that are more fun, even if they don’t have such as good reputation as Café d’Anvers.

I've gone to most if not all the proper clubs in Antwerp and this one always stands out as a bad experience. The staff is unfriendly, it's about 80% guys in the club and even if you buy a ticket for the night, you'll end up waiting 2 hours to get inside. It's a nice looking place, but the experience isn't as nice.

Line: Bought tickets and waited 2 hours to get inside. They oversell the venue to make a nice profit regardless of how many people can actually get in.

Bathroom: They don't give stamps for multiple bathrooms uses, it's always 50 cents. I gave the guy 60 cents and he didn't give me change, I asked for it and then he told me if I acted like that I wouldn't be allowed in the restroom.

Coats: Brought my jacket and put my zip-up bodywarmer that is part of the jacket back on the inside of the coat. The staff acted like I was trying to hide the bodywarmer and charged me for 2 coats even though they connect as one. I asked if they were joking and they just ignored me.

Drinks: Expensive and badly mixed.

People: 80% guys, I guess that's what you get when you go out in the Red Light District.

Nice location BUT completely overpriced drinks which are badly mixed & Unfriendly staff. The club does not deserve the title to be one of best clubs in the world

Great nightclub spot if you're into house music. The area is a little sketchy, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to tourists. It's expensive, as clubs tend to be, but it's usually a fun time.

An incredible club with awesome decor. Went here on a techno night, some of the best I've ever heard. The club has a giant fan which turns on periodically and makes you feel like you're standing in strong wind, which really adds another layer to the dancing experience. Be prepared to pay top dollar for entry and drinks though.
