The spa centre is excellent, but the gym could be better. Few important machines are missing.

Very clean. new machines and well maintained. Friendly personel. the only inconvenience is that if you want to mix your exercise with using weights and machines you have to mive between different floors.

It's the best Holmes Place in town (IMO) and deserves 5 stars for staff friendliness, cleanliness and overall aspect.
The general complaint is still standing though. Once something breaks, it takes ages to fix.
And I am not taking about workout machines, treadmills and steppers but rather about the swimming pool being under maintenance for almost a month.
I would give it 3 1/2 but can't ...so... 3 it is!

Relatively well equipped for a modern fitness center, but air quality should be improved (a/c) and it's way overpriced for what it offers. It's upscale only in location and price, not amazing by any stretch of imagination as a fitness club.
