Lovely green space to take time out and have a picnic, lots of red deckchairs available for free, great for saving a bit of money away from all the eateries for a change. The Votive Church is nearby and also a must see if you're into churches. It is the most beautiful in Vienna, we thought.

Popular with the college crowd, they love to hang out there and have picnics in the summer time. The park's nice and generally clean.

This is a very nice park to spend a few green hours. There are some benches and tables, but most people/students just sit in the grass when the weather is warm. Sometimes there are promoters who let you try food and drinks for free. Sadly there's sometimes litter in the grass (mostly cigarettes), but it's usually barely noticeable.
