A beautiful location. Part of tango history. It is temporarily closed for renovations.

Interesting place with many contrasts: poor service, wine was corked, food was bad. The all-women tango orchestra was really good. What I liked the most was the couples (real customers, not paid dancers) that just got up from their tables and started to dance tango as if in a ballroom. Seemed very authentic, not a made up tourist trap show.

Beautiful marble tile floor for dancing. The quality of the dancing can vary a lot, though. More popular with tourists (and not necessarily experienced Tango tourists) than locals.
